OFFICIAL STATEMENT OF APPRECIATION AND CONGRATULATIONS

FROM THE PRESIDENT, GIMPA-TEIN
On behalf of the Executive Committee and the entire GIMPA-TEIN body, I wish to express
our profound appreciation to all members for their unwavering support, dedication, and
confidence demonstrated throughout the recent electoral process.
We extend our sincere congratulations to the President-Elect, Ms. Valerie Elikem Kportufe,
and the Vice President-Elect, Mr. Oswald Nii Aba, on their decisive and well-earned victory.
This occasion marks a significant milestone in the history of student leadership at GIMPA,
notably with the election of the first female President-Elect of the SRC. This achievement
reflects the maturity of our democratic processes and the collective commitment to inclusivity
and merit-based leadership.
We further commend all members of the GIMPA-TEIN team whose diligence, resilience, and
steadfast commitment were instrumental in this outcome. Your collective efforts have
strengthened the institutional credibility of our organization.
In the same regard, we acknowledge the contributions of all opposing candidates. Their
participation enriched the democratic process and reinforced the principles of fairness,
transparency, and accountability. As we transition forward, we reaffirm our commitment to
unity and inclusiveness, and we welcome constructive engagement from all stakeholders in
advancing the shared interests of GIMPA-TEIN.
We also extend our deepest appreciation to our Patron and key stakeholders whose guidance
and support ensured the integrity and success of this process.
This outcome reinforces the core values of the NDC tradition, that leadership is attained
through competence, service, and commitment. GIMPA-TEIN continues to exemplify these
principles by fostering equal opportunity and leadership development.
We remain confident that the incoming leadership will advance a progressive, inclusive, and
unified agenda that serves the broader interests of the student body.
We thank all members once again for their trust and continued commitment.
Signed
Ishmael Jabaz Anamoh
President, GIMPA-TEIN
